Our Privacy Disclosure & Consent to Share Information

  1. The Information you provide will be held by us. This information may be necessary for us to provide advice to you or to advance applications on your behalf for financial services and/or real estate services. The information that you provide may be of a personal nature or may be credit information. Personal information may include but is not limited to information in respect of:
  • Your occupation
  • Your income
  • Your expenses
  • Your assets
  • Your liabilities
  • Your banking arrangements
  • Your credit history
  • Other sources of household income and expenditure.
  1. You appoint us as your agent to obtain your credit information from a credit reporting body.
  2. We may use personal and credit information and any other information you provide to us to arrange or provide a range of services including, but not limited to, Finance, Insurance, Legal Services, Financial Planning and Real Estate. This may include providing your personal financial information to third parties with your consent such as our recommended Financial Planners, Real Estate Agents or Solicitors. The information may also be supplied to service providers located overseas who may assist us in the preparation or processing of data and/or documentation of a clerical nature. Those overseas service providers may be located in the Philippines, Hong Kong and/or Singapore.
  3. We may exchange the Information with the following types of entities, some of which may be located overseas:
    1. prospective funders or other intermediaries in relation to your finance requirements;
    2. other organisations that are involved in managing or administering your finance such as third party suppliers, printing and postal services and call centres;
    3. Associated Entities of Equanimity Concepts Pty Ltd as defined by section 50AAAof the corporations act 2001 that may want to market products to you;
    4. companies or entities that provide information, support and infrastructure systems to us;
    5. anyone that represents you, such as finance brokers, lawyers and accountants;
    6. where required by law, such as under the Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth);
    7. investors, agents or advisers, or any entity that has an interest (directly or indirectly) in our business;
    8. Your employer, referees or identity verification service providers.
  4. We may use sensitive information that we have collected about you for a secondary purpose provided that the secondary purpose is directly related to your application for finance and such use is within your reasonable expectations.
